Blueberry Bushes

Blueberries are naturally high in antioxidants! They are extremely nutritious and have a high vitamin content.

Bluecrop

 ‘Bluecrop’ is an early fruiting variety which produces a heavy crop of light blue berries that are full of flavor. It is a vigorous shrub with an upright habit and has good drought resistance. Like all blueberries, it must have moist, acidic soil to flourish. Even without the added bonus of delicious berries, it makes an attractive deciduous shrub with white flowers in spring and striking autumn colors. 

Razz

The plump, powder-blue fruits, have a unique raspberry flavor overtone. It has a very distinctive flavor! They are excellent for fresh eating and culinary uses. ‘Razz’ Blueberries are a robust plant, growing 4-to 6’ tall. The plants are reliably and produce good yields of medium to large berries that ripen in midseason. This blueberry variety is ideal for home gardeners, specialty markets and U-pick operations that enjoy something unique. Grow in loose, acid soil in full sun. These bushes make 

Top Hat

 ‘Top Hat’ makes a decorative pot plant, producing white blossoms in spring and attractive bronze autumn foliage. PERFECT FOR SMALL SPACES, CONTAINERS, AND BONSAI. FULL-SIZE FRUIT ON DWARF PLANTS! Its plump berries are delicious in pies, muffins, and jams. Ideal for the patio. Compact shrub producing masses of Blueberries in July/August. Delicate white flowers in June. 

Misty

 Misty is a premium southern highbush blueberry variety known for its light blue fruits, mildly sweet flavor, and pleasing fragrance. It’s not just any berry—Misty stands out for being an early-fruiting, low-chill, and highly adaptable variety, ideal for regions with mild winters and warm summers. 

Patriot

 ‘Patriot’ is great for northern climates and has the biggest, juiciest berries ever! It has been hybridized to adapt to the very northern climates of our country.  ‘Patriot’ is very winter hardy to -30 degrees F or lower (Zone 3-7). It  has large fruit that is firm and flavorful. The berry is formed on tight clusters. ‘Patriot’ is a great choice for the fresh or U-Pick markets because of the size and quality of the fruit. ‘Patriot’ is also very nice used as an ornamental bush and is well loved 

Pink Popcorn

This hardy northern high bush blueberry is a more compact grower than other varieties and bears pink fruit that ripens early to midseason. These glowing blush-colored berries have the taste and aroma of the best blueberries and could offer gourmands a decorative and exotic surprise. The crisp texture promises a “snap” of flavor, hence the whimsical “Popcorn” name. Pink Popcorn®, is truly a hardy plant, the only pink blueberry on the market tolerant in Zone 4 temperatures. Blueray

Jersey

Northland

‘Northland’ has been hybridized to adapt to the very northern climates of our country.  It has flexible branches which do not break under heavy snow loads and adapts well in the sub-zero climate. Fruit is borne on long and loose clusters. The quality of the fruit is moderately firm and has a nice wild berry flavor. This is also a great ornamental bush. A low stature and spreading growth habit make it an attractive landscape plant.

 ‘Latham’ is a reliable favorite!  This junebearer is vigorous and ripens mid-season.  These large firm berries have excellent fruit with a sweet flavor. 

Heritage-everbearing

Fall Gold

‘Fall Gold’ – This everbearing yellow-gold raspberry is extremely sweet and excellent for fresh eating, canning, and preserves. Similar to red raspberries in all respects but color. They are vigorous and extremely hardy. Fall Gold is very similar to the Heritage Red Raspberry in growth habits, fruiting times and maintenance. 

Boyne

‘Boyne’ is THE summer producing red raspberry for extreme arctic climates! Released in 1960, ‘Boyne’ is an early-season variety that is extremely winter hardy. Fruits are medium size and tremendously flavorful when they open in the middle of July. ‘Boyne’, is an attractive berry with a deliciously sweet, aromatic flavor, making it an excellent choice for fresh eating, canning, freezing, and desserts. Brandywine

 

‘Brandywine’ is a true purple raspberry. A hybrid cross between a red raspberry and black raspberry, this purple raspberry is unsurpassed for jam, jelly, and pies. The purple of this raspberry fades to a bright red when baked in pies and cakes. The ‘Brandywine’ raspberry is used extensively in the fermentation of wine and other spirits.

It is less invasive and “stays put” where it is planted. 

Jewel

 ‘Jewel’ (Standard, Black) is a customer favorite with large black raspberries that are shiny black, sweet and flavorful. A recent introduction from the New York Fruit Testing Station found this is now rated the best of black raspberries. Plus, these plants are highly disease resistant. Also, the vigorous plants are early ripening.   It produces excellent yields of superb quality berries. The large sized fruit is glossy black in color and has a rich raspberry flavor. 

September

The ‘September’ Red raspberry bush grows a tart tasting berry that is sure to excite the taste buds for breakfast. It is not unusual for the ‘September’ Red raspberry to ripen in some Southern states as early as August, however, the deep flavor is sharpest in September. A bowlful of ‘September’ Red raspberries will satisfy the hunger of any child. The berries of the ‘September’ Red raspberry are a pleasantly bright red color, and the sweet aroma accents the distinctive taste. 

Royalty

The most popular purple raspberry variety today, ‘Royalty’ is a summer-bearing variety and one of the heaviest producers. Its light sweet flavor produces outstanding jellies and jams. It is late-ripening and excellent for table use or freezing.  This cross between a purple raspberry and a red raspberry was produced by the Cornell Research Foundation. It combines the desirable features of both, coupling the large fruit size and plant vigor of a purple hybrid with the high fruit quality of a red r
