As a young boy Justin enjoyed growing vegetable plants and sunflowers. He started at  barely 10 years old going to the picking patch and picking veggies to sell at his home in Winesburg Ohio. He wanted to be able to provide healthy, fresh produce that was affordable to those around him. In 2002, when he was just 14 years old, Justins dream started to become a reality. Justin started selling at Rogers Flea Market, Hartville Flea Market, and 4 Seasons Flea Market with quality veggies and flowers. 

Justin grew many types of vegetables and what he didn't grow was mainly purchased from local Amish growers. 

Over the years Justin has sold wholesale to Acme as well as to some of the main wholesale produce markets in North East Ohio. 

In 2005 Justin bought his first Greenhouse and started growing zucchini to have early in the season. Soon after more greenhouses where built for peppers and tomatoes. 

Around 15 years ago Justin started growing his own vegetable plants from seed for his fields. Soon the greenhouses were transitioned over to vegetable seedling starting. Flowers were purchased from local growers and sold at markets. 

Slowly herb seedlings were added to the mix. 

Soon a roadside stand was built to bring vegetables available to neighbors- all on the honor system. 

In 2020 Justin married Katie and her love for flowers lead to experimenting with flowers from seed. We have greatly widened our selection and now start 98% of our flowers from seed. This allows us to keep our prices lower and affordable to all. 

Over the years we have also added in pumpkins and fall decorations as well as hardy mums. 

In 2024, by popular demand, Justin built our Roadside Stand Greenhouse and we were finally able to sell a larger quantity of plants at the farm. 

In fall of 2024, we made a decision to start branching out into trees, shrubs, as well as perennial plants and are excited for the future.
